Greetings from The Antioch Community.


Sure am thankful for the good rain that we received.


My cousin Omanell Robertson called me from Florida. She is still having Health problems.


My brother-in-law, Louie Schmidt called me. He is doing okay.


My sister, Sue Fuller, is sick. Had to see the Doctor on Monday. James is doing about the same.


The Team Kids Kick-Off and Ice Cream Social was held Saturday night. That Home-made ice cream sure was good. Got the kids signed up for Team Kids, which will start Sept. 3. If you didn’t get to sign up Saturday night, you are still welcome to come.


Gail and Jeanie Sears will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at Antioch on Aug. 29th at 5 p.m. They will be renewing their wedding vows. You are invited to come and help them celebrate this special day.


We are having brunch at 9:30 each Sunday morning at Antioch. So get up a little early and come for brunch and then star for Sunday School.


We have our money barrel out for you to put your change in for the Fisher House. His money goes to help the soldiers and their family.


Our Revival will be held September 28th through October 1st. Bro. Larry Watson will be the preacher.


Visiting with Dolores Harris and Vanessa Price was Dewayne Stuart. Dolores used to keep their son.


It was good to hear Dr. Larry Gotts on Feedback this morning. (Tuesday) I always enjoy listening to Don and the good Doctor.


Christine White enjoyed her Birthday on August 10th with her family. Those present were Juley, Tommy Nelson, Jimmy and Judy White, Joey and Sherry White, Jeffery White and Irene White, Milissa and Bruce Reno and two girls, Jessica Robey and four children, Miranda and son, Mason, Jeanette, Nick and their two girls, Shelby and Ethan Belcher, Jenny, husband and their little girl was all there for her Birthday.


Jackie White and his three boys came Saturday. Carolyn White was there Saturday and brought her a cup of ice cream. Dorothy Henderson was there also.


Caring for the burdens of others helps us to forget about our own.
