A community is concerned, and some quite scared, about three men on the loose, with very little description offered by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
Three male subjects, which is all that is being released at this time, broke into a home on Morgantown Road on Wednesday and robbed the homeowner at gun point.
“The case has been turned over to our detective division and we have no further details at this time on the case,” said Sheriff Wallace Whittaker Thursday morning.
According to the sheriff, Sergeant Clint Wright was conducting interviews Wednesday.
“We are not sure at this point if the incident was drug related or not.” said Whittaker. “We are completing a thorough investigation, and when facts become available, we will release them.”
The Logan County Sheriffs Office responded to a report of a home invasion at 1:13 a.m. at the residence of 5763 Morgantown Road. The Emergency Communications Center (ECC-911) received a call from the home owner stating that three males had forced entry into her residence and threatened her with a gun demanding money.
According to the sheriff’s deportment, the three subjects ransacked the residence and left with several pairs of shoes and jewelry.
The sheriff’s department is asking if any one has information pertaining to the case, please contact the Emergency Communications Center at 270-726-4911.
