Logan County High School Resource Officer (SRO) Rob Bubacz received a very special honor at the high school Tuesday in front of hundreds of clapping kids, teachers, administrators and peers.

Officer Glenn Woodard of the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, who serves on the board of executives for School Resource presented Bobacz with state SRO of the year award for his dedicated service and for being an asset to the school system’s students and the educational process.

Bubacz was nominated by the school administration in April with a letter that reflected the caring and selflessness of officer “B” as he is referred.

Some of the wonderful things said about Bubacz included his pride in his job striving to instill quality in students lives by offering advise and guidance. He is a dynamic presence at this school, calming yet respected for his authority. A great leader to everyone he comes in contact with.

Bubacz was speechless when accepting the award but did extend his appreciation to the Kentucky Association of School Resource Office as well as all of Logan County High School, it’s students, teachers and administrators.
