The students’ first day of school next year will be Tuesday, Aug. 7 and the last day will be May 20 – if everything goes according to schedule without missing too many days for snow.
The current school year is scheduled to end on May 17.
“That should give our students a pretty good summer break this year,” Smith said. “If we don’t miss many more days with snow.”
So far, the district has only had to miss one day – on Friday, Jan. 13. Russellville will make that day up on Presidents Day, Feb. 20.
The fall break for next school year will be Oct. 1-5 and spring break will be April 1-5.
