Frances McDougal Harbison, 85, of Russellville, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

She was born in

Rutherford County, Tenn. May 31, 1926, a daughter of the late Homer Jones McDougal and the late Bride Smith McDougal. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harbison was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Harbison Moneyhan.

Mrs. Harbison was a homemaker and member of the United Methodist Temple.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Dr. J. Earl Coker officiating. Burial followed in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation began Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Paul Bush, Brandon Law, David Gatlin, Jerry Bratcher, Johnnie Simpson and Wayne Reeves.

She is survived by her husband, G.W. Harbison; her daughter, Barbara Simpson and husband Johnnie of Bon Aqua, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Tammy Binkley Gatlin, Gene Bush, Chris Bush and Will Bush, and six great-grandchildren.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the United Methodist Temple.
