Lisa Johnson was recently awarded Logan Memorial Hospital’s 2014 Mercy Award. This honor places her in contention for LifePoint’s 2014 Mercy Award, the highest honor an employee can earn with LifePoint Hospitals, Inc., the parent company of Logan Memorial.

The Mercy Award was created to honor outstanding individuals for their commitment to LifePoint’s high standards of excellence. The Mercy Award is given annually in honor of Scott L. This award commends individuals whose daily dedication and care-giving inspires others with their compassion, dedication, and merciful spirit.

Lisa is a Certified First Assistant in the Surgical Services Department and has been employed at Logan Memorial Hospital nearly 11 years. “We are extremely proud to recognize Lisa for her efforts. Lisa goes beyond the call of duty serving our patients daily. Lisa also gives back to our community by her involvement in local charitable events.” said Chief Executive Officer, Jim Bills.

Lisa Johnson is married to Timmy and has two sons and one step-son: Caleb and Kyle (ages 17), and Keeton, age 9.
