Good Saturday morning and how was your week? Have anything out to get frost bitten?
John and Jessica Sweeney and girls Kyla and Michaela of Charleston, South Carolina left here Friday morning. They had been here a week. Sometime soon John will have a 6 week training period before he will deploy to Saudi Arabia. Hate to see him go, but when Uncle Sam is your boss you go where he says!
Sunday night I went to Crossroads church with Stanley and watched their Easter program, which was very interesting.
Last Saturday Sue and James Fuller went to Auburn to their granddaughter’s Maranda and Dustin Connally, Addison, Bayleigh and baby Abel. Sue said he is really growing, they were celebrating Maranda’s birthday. Others there were Bryan and Jessica Fuller. All had a good time.
Some known birthdays for May are the 4th Vivian Neagle and Olivia Wells, the 10th Sabrina Fuller, 16th Carolyn Mallory, the 15th Ronnie Rosser, the 20th Betty Grayson, the 25th Joyce Wilson and the 27th Randy Fuqua and Bayleigh Connally. Hope all have happy days.
A few known anniversaries are the 4th Glenda and Curtis Ramsey, the 10th Warren and Betty Stuart, the 12th Alfred and Jo Davis, the 15th Mark and Freida Pitchford and the 31st Chris and Alicia Johnson.
Helen Porter and brother Wilford Scarbrough of Auburn visited Rock Springs and Beechland cemeteries one day last week and put new flowers on some families graves.
Our sympathy to Peggy Taylor and family in the death of her husband George this past week.
Visiting here awhile Thursday were Judy Jernigan and Martha Wright Williams. Martha gave me a new perm and I sure was needing it.
We had several visitors at church this morning and all I’m gonna mention is Meagan Harrell Dorris. I’ve known that kid all her life. As I told her this morning , ever since she was a twinkle in her dad’s eyes.
Hope all enjoyed this special day of Easter. It was a beautiful day out side, so hope it was a good day for all.
Steve Timberlake came and got me for church and brought some new onions and Lannie Jernigan brought my Easter dinner. Thanks very much.
Hope you have a good week and stay in pretty good health.
So see ya!
