Destiny, Part 4

17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: 18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: 19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him. Psalm 105:17-19 (KJV)

You know you are spiritually maturing when things that use to affect you one way years ago but now don’t have the same effect on you today. Many have been derailed from their destiny because they allow an offence that has happened to them in the past consume them. Jesus says don’t be surprise but offences will come. But we have to get to place in our life and realize that God has done more for us than what people have done to us. We have so much to be thankful for. Joseph went from the pit to the palace. Now he has a choice to be cruel to those who had harmed him, or he could give God glory for this. The God I serve is bigger than what you have said or did to me.

Information will challenge your thinking but revelation will change your character. Revelation gives you elevation. Joseph understood that God sent him to save the people. The revelation that he learned was you don’t need the position when you’ve got the influence. You could say Pharaoh was the king. Pharaoh had the position but Joseph told him what to do. Watch this Pharaoh is a type of the Devil and the Bible says he is the prince and power in the air Eph.2:2. He has the position but what we got to understand is that we have the influence.

Matthew 5:13-16 (KJV) 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

God will make you wiser than your enemy. Psalm 119:98 (KJV) 98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. Enemy thinks he is still run the show but when the hand of God is on your life you are the one make all the calls. Watch this you can’t die in God’s will all the enemy can do to you is build your resume. Joseph’s purpose was about saving people’s lives. What is your purpose?
