Antioch

January 30, 2014

Greetings from the Antioch Community.

Harry, Sheila and Chris Epley all ate supper with Dolores and Vanessa last week. There were celebrating Chris’ Birthday.

I omitted Dr. Larry Gotts being on the Feedback last week with Don. They had a good program. I always enjoy listening to Dr. Gotts and Don Neagle.

I enjoyed listening to Willis Shores on Monday with his Gospel music.

Bro. Albert Clardy filled our Pulpit on Sunday at Antioch. He brought two good messages.

Sure is cold today (Monday) after it being so pretty on Sunday.

Sue and James Fuller are doing about the same. Sue is working part time. James still has trouble breathing. Wish he could get better. They went to church Sunday.

Happy birthday this week to Shelby Thornberry and Evelyn Williams.

Visiting with Christine White was Juley Nelson, Shelby Belcher, Dorothy Henderson, Chris White, his mother Beverly, his daughter McKinzie, Jeffery White came Saturday morning and brought his mom breakfast, Jimmy White came Monday night and brought his mom supper.

A soup and chili supper was held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church on Sunday night to raise money for the kids camp. It was followed by the annual Bobby Cracker Bake Off. My nephew Jimmy Christian won second place on his sugar cookies. A good time was had by all.

The most treasured gift we can give to God is one that He can never force us to give - our love.

Have a good week.
