Halloween is finally here in the great town of Adairville, I can’t wait to see all the ghosts, goblins and super heroes running around and I cannot forget about the witches and princesses either.

431 Grill has moved their Halloween costume contest to Friday November 1st starting at 6 pm and the judging will take place at 7 p.m. the winner will receive a free meal of their choice, so come out and join the great fun and eat some amazing food.

For everyone who does not know the trick or treating has also been moved to Friday November the 1st from 4:30 pm to 7 pm due to the weather forecast.

A benefit chili supper will be held for burn victim Tom Ward on Saturday November 2nd at 5 pm at the Adairville Elementary School $5 for adults and $3 for children the age of 10 and under, the meal includes chili, hot dog, dessert, and a drink. Kids can get a hot dog, chips, dessert and a drink (if they do not want chili), please come out and support this family.

Anthem Lights, a contemporary Christian band will be in concert at Calvary General Baptist Church, 117 Traughber Rd. Adairville Ky. On November 8th doors open at 6:30 pm and the event will start at 7 pm, this is a free concert.

Tina’s Treasures will be moving back to Russellville, and soon there will be an antique shop to take its place, will have more details in the coming week.

The Country Angel had a successful open house this past weekend, the gift shop is decorating for Christmas and is spectacular, come by and see all the beautiful items the shop has to offer.

Let’s not forget that the Adairville hardware store has many things to offer and is open daily.

Also let’s not forget about the 431 Grill is bringing back karaoke on November 16th at 5 pm until 8 pm Clay Bilyeu will be hosting the karaoke event so come out and join food, fellowship and fun.

I have herd that Marry Ann Davis is doing better but is not able to come home just yet, let’s continue to pray for the Davis family.

Also remember Nannette King as she battles cancer

I would like to remember Bobby Ganious as he has been struggling with Pneumonia for the past week but I have heard he is improved.

Remember the Hardesty family due to the untimely death of an amazing father, husband, brother and son Anthony please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.

Remember the family of Geraldine Kirtley a long time citizen of Adairville who passed away this week

Adairville Elementary School has been celebrating Be Drug Free week, reminding kids that you can have fun and succeed without using drugs.

I would like to give a shout out to the strongest and most inspirational person in my life and that’s my mom I don’t know where I would be without her and I sure don’t know what I would do without her.
