Howdy! Did you see the frost? I never looked out, yet I’m sure there was lots of it. So that is better than snow, right?
Ann Piper Pember of Greensboro, North Carolina visited in the county at the Tobacco Festival and also visited several family members, one of which was Kathryn Stuart. They always have a fun visit. She is back home now.
A wake up call, I’m sure no one can forget to do the old clock bit. It is time to go through this ordeal once again.
Retired professor of WKU, Dr. Lynwood Montell of Bowling Green came down Thursday, which was my birthday, and away we went, later eating at the Ranger Grill. It was good too. One question, ever eat a banana split without the banana? It can be done, cause I got one.
While at the restaurant, Mr. Herman Robbins came in and while talking found out his birthday was the 23rd and he was 86 too.
Got a call from my cuz, Omanel Robertson in sunny degree weather. One day this week she too had fallen and has a broken hand. It was her left hand. She is right handed, so that does help. She is in Florida.
I’ve had lots of calls for my birthday and have gotten 26 cards. Thank you very, very much. James and Sue came by one morning on their way out (brought me some goodies). They had to go to the Dr. this week in Bowling Green. James just can’t get any relief for his breathing problems and Sue is still having problems with her back.
Our sympathy to Judy Jernigan and family in the death of a brother Wallace Mitchell of Greenville.
Joyce Hardison and sis Jolene Adler visited at Hearthstone Place in Elkton seeing Mae White. Her birthday was the 24th. While there they saw Lucille Witson. She said Lucille said she was not feeling very well that day.
Elaine and Tara and her mom Louise Carver are at home again after visiting Elaine’s son John and Jessica and girls Kyla and Michaela in Charleston, S. Carolina.
Visiting with Marvine Borders Friday night were daughter Freida and Mark Pitchford of Paris, Illinois and great-granddaughter Brynn Pitchford of Bowling Green.
And others that have been here were Judy Jernigan and Martha Williams. She trimmed my hair and it feels so much better.
