Hello my name is Kelly Costello and I am the new Adairville correspondent, if you have any upcoming events or news you can contact me at First I would like to tell you a little about myself, I am the daughter of Patty Costello and the late John “Bobby” Costello. I have twin brother his name is Kevin, then I have three older brothers Dustin, Tony, and Bill Costello. I graduate Logan County High School this year and then I plan on attending Austin Peay State University in the fall of 2014. I plan on informing you of the upcoming events and news happening in and around the Adairville area.

First I would like to announce that 431 Grill will be having a Halloween costume contest on Thursday October 31st, beginning at 6p.m and the judging will take place at 7p.m. the best costume will win a free meal of your choice.

Also Head Quarters Beauty Salon just announced that they now do shalik nails for the unbeatable price of thirty dollars. They also provide tanning bed services, manicures and pedicures, and haircuts for the whole family.

Tina’s Treasures Two is continuing their summer blowout sale now through the month of October.

The Country Angel Gift Shop has unbeatable prices on beautiful fall decorations and gifts, and also is having a Christmas open house on Friday October 25 and Saturday October 26 from 10am to 5pm there will be door prizes, food, specials and a book signing featuring the revival of the 1800’s which is a book called “The Waking Up” by Melanie Meadow, during Friday’s open house the book will be featured.

Adairville’s block party that was hosted on Saturday October 19th was a big turnout, many of Adairville’s community came out and had an amazing time even though the weather did not turn out as expected that did not stop the young children and young adults from having a great time.

Coming soon Adairville will have a small grocery store containing meat and produce and some odd and end items in the near future.

For upcoming events 431 Grill is bringing back karaoke on Saturday November 16th from 5 p.m. until closing which is at 8 p.m. Clay Bilyeu will be hosting so come out and have some fun and eat some great food.

Let’s not forget about the karaoke at Tenn-Tucky happening on Friday nights.

I would like to say thank you to the senior club/center for everything they do in our community for our seniors.

I would like to give a big shout out to the kindergarten teachers at Adairville School, and the teachers’ aides and helpers for everything they do, they impact the lives and minds of the young children in the community and they help create the new leaders of our town early.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family’s’ of Betty Jean Hallman and Mr. Harold Prince, they were both important members of the Adairville community and they will be greatly missed.

Let’s also remember Marry Ann Davis who is in the rehab facility NHC in Springfield Tennessee

Also remember our sick and shut-ins and include them in your thoughts and prayers.

The Adairville Cardinals 2013-2014 Basketball season will be under way soon the announcement of the new Adairville Basketball coaches are here. The new boys’ basketball coach is Kevin Rayno and the assistant coach is Kevin Costello, and the girls coach is Nick Hildabrand.
