Greetings from The Antioch Community.

Our little community was sure saddened Thursday when Barbara Christian’s life was taken in a car wreck. Her little 3-year-old grandson lived until Friday and he passed away. We are so sorry for the family. We will miss Barbara at church at Antioch too. Her funeral was Tuesday, and little Eli was Thursday. Please keep this family in your Prayers.

I enjoyed a call last week from Jeanie Gregory.

I was sick last week and wasn’t able to get my news ready to mail to the News-Democrat & Leader.

Visiting with Myrtle Pogue was Lorrie Hopper, Lois Earl Brown, Jean Grise and her sister Sue Geisler and Darlene last week.

Visiting with Myrtle Pogue this week was seven ladies from the Tabernacle Baptist Church and had their devotion with Myrtle. She said she really enjoyed it. They were going to lunch after the meeting. Lois Earl Brown and Darlene was there too.

Visiting with Christine White was Jerry and Irene, Juley, Shelby Nelson, Jimmy White was there and brought her supper one night. Then he came Sunday and brought her an apple pie.

Dr. Larry Gotts was on the Feedback Program last week. I didn’t get to hear much of the program as I had to keep an appointment with the doctor. I’m sure they had a good program. he and Don always get a lot of calls. Thank you, Dr. Gotts, for taking time out of your busy day to do the Radio program.

Jimmy and Sheila Christian went to church Sunday for the first time since he had open heart surgery. Sure am thankful for his progress.

Let your life tell the story of Christ’s love and mercy to the world around you.

Have a good week.
