Howdy! A beautiful day. The Bible says “Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” So enjoy.
Cuz Lasley Johnson spent last weekend in St. Louis helping his brother Marshall celebrate his 84th birthday, had a good trip.
Our sympathy to the remaining family of Courtland Brown. He also worked at Rockwell at the same time Bob did.
The active lady that Judy Jernigan is, she is still going strong after having an ingrown toenail removed. It has been very painful, hope that soon stops. This was done at her Dr.’s office. Whew, Bob had that done, it sure looked awful.
Remember our Christmas party at Webb’s on December the 7th at around 11:30 a.m. We always play “Dirty Santa” so bring your $5 gift. We have lots of fun visiting. And hey, Tulip Green, would you please come? You don’t have to tell us your name. We’d love to meet you.
Lanny and Judy Jernigan and David and Stacey Jernigan and Cassidy attended the Greenville High School rodeo one night recently and did really enjoy it. They had a niece and nephew performing in it. I like to watch on t.v. so equally exciting in person.
In hearing from Mr. Mayburn and Mrs. Elvera McCoy in Louisville, they are not well. Mr. Mayburn is in the VA Hospital and of course she is not feeling so feisty, as she is not well herself. She is worried about him and that sure stresses you and worries you, so I know that they would ask for prayers on their behalf.
In hearing from Sherry Harris, also in Louisville, this week her dad Glendon Harris, according to the family Dr., says her dad does not have many days left, so remember them as you pray also.
Jerry Hart and Ronny Hart of Greenville enjoyed breakfast Saturday morning with their mom Virginia Hart.
Sunday, being before Thanksgiving Day, we enjoyed a delicious meal at the activities building. A number of people stayed for the lunch.
I enjoyed Martha Williams visit one afternoon this past week. She brought me a bunch of turnips, which I have already enjoyed some of them.
Steve Timberlake is home after helping in the Long Island recent problems. He is one that is always going about doing good. Many thanks to guys like him that are always ready to help any way he can. Thanks Steve. Hope all had a happy, healthy Thanksgiving Day and remember where all our blessings come from.
See ya next time.
