While some may try different things to get a thrill in life - people need to realize that the only real trill comes from knowing and relating to the most awesome, powerful and amazing Son of God, Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is more than sufficient, He has an ability to take you from "blah" to "WOW" in a heartbeat.

In Colossians 1:13-20, the man named Paul shared a powerful description of Jesus Christ.

"13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross."

Jesus Christ begins with;

Delivering us - Verse 13

Redeeming us - Verse 14

Forgiving us - Verse 15

And Jesus knows what He is doing because He was:

Existing before Creation - Verse 15

Creator of all things - Verse 16

Holds all Creation together - Verse 17?

And He can take you for the Greatest, Wildest, most Wonderful thrill ride of your life - IF you will let Him!

It begins with Surrender to Him and will require Service to Him.

Look at Paul for an example. He was a typical educated religious man of his day. He was simply doing what some others were doing by killing Christians and following the so called religious crowd of the the day. Then as he was busy doing what the Religious Leadership wanted him to do - Jesus Christ knocked him off course. Suddenly as the Bible explains, Paul accepted, surrendered and began to serve Jesus Christ. And Paul, may have suffered at times but if you read his story, you will find how Jesus Christ took him on a journey through life that was rewarding, never dull or boring and a blessing to even people today.

Look at George & Megan Lane in West Africa or Ryan Rice in Algiers or Travis & Staci Kerns in Salt Lake City, Utah - all surrendered to Jesus and striving to serve Him daily. And each on of them will share that, NO day is the same, the adventure is exciting, the challenge is hard and they even have to suffer at times. But it is not a life of "blah" and there is a lot of "WOW".

Don't try Tide Pods for a thrill - try something much greater - Jesus Christ - You will be glad you did!
