Mildred Hines, age 95, of Olmstead, Ky., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at the Logan Memorial Hospital.

She was born St. Louis, Mo. on Dec. 28, 1922, to the late Elzie Patterson and Bessie Dallas Patterson.

She was a seamstress and member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Lafayette, Tenn.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Edmond Nash and Maurice D. Hines; a son, Billy Wayne Nash, and brothers, Edward Patterson, Gleaner Patterson and Dewey Patterson.

She is survived by two sons, Benny Nash and wife Judy of Olmstead, Ky. and Buddy Nash and wife Brenda of Olmstead, Ky.; one daughter, Barbara Drumright of Shelbyville, Ky.; five grandchildren, Bud Nash, Jr. of Kingsland, Ga., Billy Nash of Kingsland, Ga., Adam Nash and wife Val of Auburn, Ky., Chris Drumright and wife Melissa of Taylorsville, Ky. and Billy Warren Nash of Olmstead, Ky., and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mildred Hines were conducted Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 10 a.m. at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Nash and Elder Billy Moran officiating. Burial followed in the Liberty Cemetery in Lafayette, Tenn. Visitation began at the funeral home Tuesday, Aug. 28 from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday, Aug. 29 from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 10 a.m.

Pallbearers are Adam Nash, Bud Nash, Jr., Billy Nash, Tommy Bromm, Billy Warren Nash, Chris Drumright and Malcom Parks.

Memorial donations may be made to the Liberty Cemetery.
