Marie Long, age 70, of Olmstead, Ky., the Lickskillet community, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.

She was a Logan County native born Aug. 7, 1947, to the late Johnny Boisseau and Nancy Robertson Boisseau.

She was a seamstress with Red Kap and a member of the Dripping Spring Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Long; two sons, Larry Wayne Long and wife Kim of Russellville, Ky. and Johnny Long of Olmstead, Ky.; three brothers, Eugene Boisseau of Olmstead, Ky., Larry Boisseau of Olmstead, Ky. and James Boisseau of Olmstead, Ky.; five sisters, Mary Murphy of Olmstead, Ky., Dorothy Murphy of Indianapolis, Ind., Brenda Abston of Adairville, Ky., Vicky Hudnall of Russellville, Ky. and Kathy Rager of Olmstead, Ky.; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Marie Long will be conducted Friday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. on at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Noffsinger officiating. Burial will follow in Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation will begin at the funeral home Thursday, Feb. 8 from 5-8 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 9 from 8 a.m. until the service hour of 11 a.m.

Pallbearers are: Justin Long, Ezekiel Gainous, Brennon Long, D.J. Arnold, Michael Bilyeu, Jacob Whittemore and Wes Kennedy.
