Keith Leighton Hines, 54, of Bowling Green, passed away Friday, December, 22, 2017, at his residence.

Keith was born in Logan County, Kentucky on March 9, 1963 to the late Eugene Leighton Hines and Ann Cooper Hines. He worked with the Piggly Wiggly in Russellville and Walmart in Russellville and is a member of the Duncans Chapel United Methodist Church. He loved music and played in civil war reenactments. Along with his father Keith is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Gossett and Virginia Hines and Maternal Grandparents Rufus and Lillian Cooper.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Cooper Hines of Auburn; wife, Beckie Hines of Bowling Green; three sons, Dustin Hines (Miranda) of Central City, Jordan Keith Hines of Russellville and Caleb Hines of Russellville; two step children, Carla Wade (Scotty) of Morgantown and James Tebbe of Bowling Green; one sister Leanne Newton (Jeff) of Tallahassee, Fla., two brothers; Kevin Hines (Rose) of Russellville and Kyle Hines (Staci) of Auburn, two grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Keith Hines were conducted Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Auburn Chapel with Rev. Beth Fiss officiating and burial to follow in the Auburn Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m.
