Freddie LeDonn Borders, 69, of Lewisburg, Ky., passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at Kindred at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

He was born Thursday, Oct. 21, 1948, the son of the late Thurmon Borders and Marvine Meador Borders, who survives. He was the husband of Barbara Borders, who also survives.

He was a retired educator for the Logan County School System. He was a member and song leader of Oak Grove Baptist Church for 32 years, and was also a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was also a member of the deGraffenreid Chorale.

In addition to his wife and mother, Freddie is survived by his son, Jeff Borders (Erin) of Lewisburg, Ky. ; his daughter, Stephannie Coursey (Patrick) of Lewisburg, Ky.; his sisters, Frieda Pitchford (Mark) of Bowling Green, Ky. and Connie Williams of Lewisburg, Ky., along with six grandchildren, Ross, Neil, and Sloan Coursey, and Bailey, Bethany, and Emily Borders, all of Lewisburg, Ky.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Ky. 42256 with Bro. Gene Bracken and Bro. Bob Barnes officiating. Burial followed in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, Ky.
