Frances Nash Taylor, age 93, of Russellville, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Ky.

She was a Logan County native born July 9, 1924, to the late John T. Nash and Mamie Henderson Nash.

She was a member of Epley United Methodist Church. She worked in the snack bar at the Logan County Hospital and in retail with the Dollar General Store. She was also a great cook and gardener.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Taylor.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Taylor and wife Linda of Russellville, Ky.; her daughter, Cathy Williams and husband Warner of Bowling Green, Ky.; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Frances Nash Taylor will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Chad Bewley officiating. Burial will follow in the Jarrett Cemetery. Visitation will begin at the funeral home Saturday, Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. until the service hour of 2 p.m.

Pallbearers are: Jim Thompson, Steve Kees, Gary Sears, Dwayne Croft, Alan Chiles and Steve Wilkins. Honorary pallbearers are: Johnny Guion, Justin Dossett, Billy Goley, Bob Balance and Rick Greer.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Epley United Methodist Church or Jarrett Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
