Faye Imogene “Jean” Baker, age 78, of Olmstead, Ky., passed away Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, in the Franklin Simpson Nursing and Rehab.

She was born in Knox County, Tenn. to the late Buford L. and Jewell Imogene Fralix Shackelford.

She was a member of Southern Heights Baptist Church for over 25 years and worked as a nursing aid.

She is survived by her son, Charles W. “Chuck” Baker, Jr. (Donna) of Oakville; three daughters, Debbie Robertson (Kevin) of Russellville, Tina Baker Lynch of Russellville and Jennifer Baker of Olmstead; one brother, Billy Shackelford of Olmstead; one sister, Evelyn Shanahan of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; 15 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Faye Imogene “Jean” Baker will be conducted Friday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. in the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro. Jared Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at the funeral home Friday, Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m.
