Todd County put on a show Tuesday night against the Lady Panthers. Amy Brumfield hit five 3-point shots on her way to 20 points. Russellville ends the season with a 56-36 loss in the district tournament.

Early in the contest, The Lady Panthers were keeping pace with the number 2 seed in the tournament. The Lady Rebels only managed four field goals in the first quarter, but held a 9-8 lead after a free-throw by Alexis O'Daniel.

Gabbi Poirier hit a three, and Deshala LeBlanc scored seven in the second frame. Todd County led 21-18 going into the locker room.

The third quarter is where Todd County started pulling away. Brumfield drained four 3-pointers in the quarter. Paige Rager added another. The Lady Rebels poured on 24 points in a span of eight minutes to lead 45-25 with only one quarter remaining.

Both teams scored 11 points in the final quarter. LeBlanc finished with ten in the game. Anastasia Dowlen had seven. Gabbi Poirier, Jayce Buchner, and Carleigh Phillips each finished with four.

For the Lady Rebels, Brumfield collected 20. Former Russellville Lady Panther Tatyanna Peterson had 11. Rager and O'Daniel each finished with seven.

The Lady Rebels advanced to the ladies championship on Thursday night. We will bring you the results in Tuesday's edition on the News Democrat and Leader.
