The second "Clash of the Cats" of the basketball season will take place tonight at Russellville High School.

In the first Clash on Jan. 5, the Logan County boys and girls both came away with home victories. The Cougars won a 68-64 thriller, while the Lady Cougars notched a 66-32 win.

The Panthers and Lady Panthers will no doubt be looking for redemption at home tonight, though. Tipoff of the girls' game is 6 p.m., with the boys' game starting afterwards, around 8 p.m.

Russellville's boys lost in the Fourth Region All 'A' Classic over the weekend to Monroe County and also dropped a 67-59 decision on Warren East on Tuesday. The Lady Panthers also lost games those same days to Monroe County and Warren East.

The Panthers have an overall record of 6-11 while the Lady Panthers are 2-15.

The Logan County teams both lost at home on Tuesday to Barren County. The Cougars fell 67-54 and the Lady Cougars lost 65-48.

The Logan County boys are now 10-11 overall this season, while the Lady Cougars are 12-9.
