Nine games are now in the books for the 2017 regular season in Kentucky high school football. Nine games and nine wins for the Cougars of Logan County. Tonight, the Cougars will go for number ten and a perfect season for the first time in the history of the football program at LCHS. Todd County Central is the last remaining hurdle before the playoffs start next week.

Todd County is having quite the year as well. The Rebels have six wins in nine tries this season. They did not win a single game in 2016. The game will take place at Logan County High School at 7pm tonight.

Speaking of the playoffs, the first round has been announced. Logan County will host the Warren Central Dragons (0-9) on November 3rd.

Russellville fell to Crittenden County last week on the road. The Rockets won 22-21 to deny the Panthers a district championship.

The Panthers (6-3) host Franklin-Simpson (6-3) tonight at Rhea Stadium.

Russellville will start the playoffs against Fort Knox (2-7) on November 3rd at Rhea Stadium.
