The 13th District volleyball tournament was held at Todd County Central High School on Tuesday. The end result was quite familiar for the tournament. The Logan County Lady Cougars continue to win the district title year after year. The 2017 championship came down to the Lady Cougars and Franklin-Simpson Lady Cats. Logan County won 3-0 (25-12, 25-10, 25-10.)

The tournament started with a game between the host school, Todd County Central, and Logan County. LCHS took care of business quickly, dispatching the Lady Rebels 3-0 (25-12, 25-7, 25-6.)

The second game featured the Russellville Lady Panthers and Franklin-Simpson. Russellville put up a fight, but lost 0-3 (25-16, 25-22, 25-12.) The Lady Panthers finish the season with a (6-15) record.

The Lady Cougars (22-14) will advance to the 4th Region volleyball tournament. Brackets have yet to be announced.
