The first ever girls' soccer Clash of the Cats took place on Tuesday at Logan County High School. Russellville High School has a brand new girls soccer program for 2018. The Lady Cougars came out on top with a 10-2 win.

Senior forward Hannah Goss stole the show with five goals for Logan County. Senior Abigail Lindsey added three of her own. Freshman Linnea Pitts found the net twice to cap off the scoring for the home team.

Emily Stapleton scored the first goal for Russellville on a penalty kick. Later in the game, Jayce Buchner punched it through for the second score off an assist from Stapleton.

The Lady Panthers will have their first ever home game on Tuesday as they host the Butler County Lady Bears.

Logan County is on the road Tuesday and will play a district game at Todd County Central.
