Russellville coach Mikie Benton and his Panthers got their first win of the season on Friday. The Panthers beat Fort Campbell 28-3.

New Russellville coach Mikie Benton got his first career win at Fort Campbell on Friday night. The Panthers won 28-3 behind a solid 170-yard ground game by the Panthers.

Edward Barber stole the show with 88 yards and three rushing touchdowns. Jacob Naylor had a touchdown run of 37 yards. Chevis Elliott ran six times for 34 yards.

Xavier Coleman was the leading receiver with 24 yards. Hunter McDowell kicked four extra points in the win.

Russellville will host Butler County on Friday. The game will be Coach Benton's home debut. Come out at 7pm for the Linton-Wren Kick-off Classic and cheer on your Panthers.
