Did you celebrate big for Thanksgiving? I certainly did. I went to my nephew John Noe’s on Thanksgiving Day. There were about 40 people there. Joyce had worked very hard to prepare for our coming.

On Friday, I was invited to another nephew’s house. Kevin and Becky live on the farm where I was born. They have built a beautiful new house in what used to be my daddy’s hog pen.

On Saturday after thanksgiving, my children, grandchildren, and little great-grandson all came to my house for supper.

Then on Sunday the church served a “soup and sandwich” meal after the morning worship. People around here have been well fed.

Mrs. Hart is at home and doing well following her hip surgery. I am sure she would appreciate a visit or a card.

Freddie Borders is supposed to be moved back to the Medical Center in Bowling Green sometime this week.

December will be here before this newspaper goes to press. Everyone will be busy shopping, having Christmas parties, decorating, and wrapping gifts. Be sure you don’t forget the “Reason for the Season.”

Joyce Chapman is still pretty much a “shut-in” following her hip surgery. I am sure she would enjoy phone calls, visits, and cards. Maybe she will be up and out real soon.

Until next time ...
