Logan County Sheriff Wallace Whittaker released the January activity report for his police agency as well as the agencies of Adairville, Auburn and Lewisburg.

In the month of January 2018, there were 1,052 responses by the Logan County Sheriff's Department to calls coming in through the Logan County Emergency Communications Center.

Out of those there were 41 automobile accidents, 19 animal incidents, 6 burglaries, 64 citizen assists, 2 child abuse calls, 5 custody disputes, 4 criminal mischief, 2 criminal trespassing, 10 domestic disturbances, 4 driving under the influence, 23 follow up investigations, 1 gas drive of, 7 harassments, 4 juvenile offenses, 5 K-9 requests,

1 loud music, 16 prisoner transports, 1 rape, 25 reckless driver, 2 shoplifting 3 shots fired, 2 suicidal subjects, 14 suspicious persons, 6 terroristic threatening, 13 theft of property, 166 traffic stops, 10 vehicle inspections, 24 vehicles unattended, and 23 welfare checks.
