The Russellville Police Department is looking for information regarding a pair of thefts that occurred on Christmas Eve.

On Dec. 24, 2017, the Russellville Police Department responded to a burglary at 212 North Franklin Street.

During the investigation it was determined that at least two subjects forced entry into the residence using a side door and began rummaging around the house. One of the residents was home during the burglary and found the burglars after hearing footsteps. The suspects then fled the home into an unknown vehicle.

The perpetrators were described as two black males with dark clothing. A watch valuing approximately $600 was reported as stolen during the burglary.

Also on Dec. 24, at approximately 9 p.m., the Russellville Police Department investigated a reported robbery outside the KP Hall on East 5th Street.

Officers were advised by the victim, Rosario Alaya, that three unknown male subjects wearing masks pulled him out of the vehicle he was sitting in and demanded money.

The victim was then assaulted, after which the three suspects removed property from the victim's vehicle.

This incident is currently under investigation.
