Recently Russellville Rotary was visited by Rotary District Governor, Michael Owsley. The Russellville Rotary Club is part of Rotary District 6710, which includes the western part of Kentucky.

During the District Governor's visit, he met with officers and Board members and learned about the various projects that the club is working on in the Logan County area.

The local clubs largest fundraiser that helps it be able to continue to serve the community is the annual Rotary Pancake Breakfast. The Pancake Breakfast is coming up on Oct. 13 at First Baptist Church from 6-10 a.m.

"We hope everyone will make plans to join us and help support the work Rotary does," said Elizabeth Teel, President of the Russellville Rotary Club.

Teel says Russellville Rotary is always looking for new members to join the club.

"If you have ever been interested in Rotary, speak to one of our members. Also, check out our district website which has a great list of why you should consider becoming a Rotarian," Teel added. http://www.rotarydistrict6710.org/?s=20reasons
