The Auburn Senior Center will host two Medicare Open Enrollment events.

On Thursday, Nov. 14 from 9:30-11:30 a.m., Avery Casey from Bankers Life will present a complimentary seminar describing Medicare Supplement insurance policies and Medicare Parts A and B benefits- what is and isn’t covered.

Bankers Life policies are underwritten by the Colonial Penn Life Insurance Company. This company is not connected with or endorsed by the US Government or the federal Medicare program.

On Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Kentucky Legal Aid Benefits Counselors will be on hand to help anyone who has Medicare, with an evaluation, comparison of plans or list of available plans offered for the coming year. They will be able to assist you in what is new and different for the benefit period and can enroll you onsite if you desire. They will be able to answer questions, help with the applications and provide information.

This event is provided by the Kentucky Legal Aid and Barren River Area Development District (BRADD).

Any person who is currently enrolled in Medicare or who will be eligible this enrollment year is encouraged to take advantage of one of these informational events. Both events are free of charge and open to any person in Kentucky.

The Auburn Senior Center is located at 169 Wrenwood Drive, Auburn, KY. For more information, please contact 270-542-8223 or email auburnsrctr@logantele.com.
