Units from the Russellville Rural Fire Department were dispatched out to a structure fire in the early morning hours of Thursday, Feb. 1.

Upon arrival firefighters found a fully involved structure.

Engine 54 was the main engine on scene with firefighter Chad Beard operating. The E-50 was second and tanker 52 with water shuttle.

Assistant Chief Travis Kodiak assumed command on arrival and assigned task for fire ground operations.

Firefighters Cameron Ashby, Hannah Morrison, Allan Morrison, Joshua Millz, and Shaun Brooks were all in SCBA extinguishing the blaze.

Safety officer James Kemp kept the fire ground safe and directed trucking operations. Safety officer Carl Seidler provided man power and safety operations, while firefighter Pat Brown provided accountability and truck operations.

Auburn Rural Fire Department provided mutual aid and truck 30, 35 and 31 was en-route within minutes.

Auburn firefighter D. Lass stayed on scene and provided firefighting operations on a hose line.

Units worked this fire for hours doing overhaul to get through the rubbish for hotspots.

No one was injured in the fire.
